These programs offer text alerts to students, alumni, friends and family, faculty and staff interested in receiving athletics, events and news notifications or updates. Harris Connect Mobile Alerts are available for Alltel, AT&T, Boost, Cellular One, Cincinnati Bell, Nextel, Sprint, T-MOBILE®, US Cellular, Virgin Mobile and Verizon Wireless customers only. Are there charges for participating in any Harris Connect Mobile offering?
Neither Harris Connect nor any university or college charges a fee but msg & data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. If you do not have a text messaging plan or if you go over the number of messages included in your plan, you will be charged. Charges vary by wireless carrier
Will Harris Connect Mobile programs work on my mobile device?
Most mobile devices are capable of sending and receiving text messages. Harris Connect Mobile programs text messaging is supported by the following carriers: Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile¨, Verizon Wireless, Nextel, Boost, Alltel, Virgin Mobile, US Cellular, Cincinnati Bell and Cellular One.
How do I discontinue Harris Connect Mobile programs text messaging?
For Georgetown Homecoming Mobile: Text message the word STOP to 258664. You will receive a confirmation text message that your request was received. Unless you sign-up again, you will not receive further messages.
